The hotel's rooms, while in need of an update especially with electrical sockets and the bathroom shower, were surprisingly spacious and modern, offering all the conveniences I expected. Although a bit tired in places, they were still very comfortable. The service, though needing some investigation, was very pleasant, with friendly and helpful staff welcoming us as guests of the day. The location, a definite plus point, was prime as the sole reason for my choice of Bloomsbury, right beside the Russell Square tube station, ideal for my needs. The dining experience, despite seeming expensive and limited, was still good with core vegetarian options available. The facilities were first-class.
